Winter weddings are actually really, really pretty. The white snow on the ground in contrast with the dark branches of the surrounding trees make for some incredibly beautiful images. And, if you get lucky, the temperatures can be pretty tolerable for the portrait sessions.
For my first winter wedding ever, I was pretty excited to be documenting the wedding of my cousin James to his soul mate Becky. It was a pretty chilly day but no chill could ever dampen the warmth and cozy feeling you felt when you saw Becky and James together. Seeing the joy and tears on their faces the first time they saw each other on their wedding day left me breathless and teary-eyed. It was clear that their wedding day was only just the beginning to a great journey in their lives together.
Becky & James, thank you so much for allowing me to capture such a special moment in your lives. James, I’m so, so happy that you have found an incredible partner for life in Becky. Becky, you’re such a beautiful person and I’m excited to welcome you to the family.
Much love & hugs, Jenne.
It’s a tradition in Becky’s family to have a mouse present on the wedding day… such a cute little mousie!
I NEVER see James cry so this was such a poignant moment. Clearly, he’s in love.

Lurrve the Converse All-Stars all blinged up!
It wouldn’t be a Canadian wedding without a Timmy’s run!
