No amount of darkening clouds and thunder could have put a damper on Catherine’s wedding day. This was the day she would marry her mate, the mate to her soul. The rain poured down over the beautiful shores of Georgian Bay but inside the gorgeous Serenity Cottage, Catherine and Jeff shared their momentous day with close family and friends, in tears, laughter and plenty of love.
In an area of Ontario with a beautiful landscapes and historical landmarks, Catherine and Jeff also wanted to incorporate some of their own family history as a part of their wedding day. From family orchards to vintage Studebakers, this was a day filled with history. The apple orchard we visited for their photo session used to belong to Jeff’s grandparents. Jeff, as a young boy, helped plant some of the apple trees along the seemingly never-ending rows of newly blooming blossoms. A truly wonderful way to celebrate the continuation of generations to come.
Catherine & Jeff, thank you to you and your families for being so open and welcoming… for allowing me to capture the poignant moments on your special day and sharing with me a small bit of the history in your lives.
Love & hugs, Jenne.
